The North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District will conduct pile burning during the week, weather permitting, in areas near Sweetwater Rd., Tomahawk Trail, and Fairview Blvd. Smoke may affect surrounding areas for 48 to 72 hours.

Washoe County Emergency Management issued a slope-specific avalanche advisory for terrain above Crystal Bay and the Third Creek drainage in Incline Village. Danger is rated Considerable in Crystal Bay and High in upper Third Creek.
