Incline Village and Crystal Bay residents can recycle their holiday trees for free through the Waste Not Program. Trees can be dropped off at Preston Field through January 29 or placed curbside during collection week, January 11 to 15.

Weather permitting, the Tahoe Fire and Fuels Team will continue prescribed fire operations this week, with California State Parks, the California Tahoe Conservancy, and the North Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Douglas fire districts burning hand piles. Smoke may be visible.
