Tahoe Douglas Fire plans to burn piles in Glenbrook and on Daggett Summit starting May 21, and the Forest Service plans an understory burn along Pioneer Trail starting May 23. A fire information booth will be staffed near Hekpa Drive.

The Forest Service may burn piles in Meyers near Osgood Swamp this week to reduce fuels if conditions are favorable. Smoke will be present.
