Officials confirmed the Incline Village Fourth of July fireworks were canceled after the fireworks barge partially sank before launch. Crews removed the above-water fireworks safely and reported no threat to public safety.

The Incline Village fireworks display was canceled. NLTFPD, Washoe County Sheriff's Office, and IVGID closed Ski Beach, Incline Beach, and the boat ramp, and scheduled a joint press conference for July 4 at 3 p.m.
