Tahoe Douglas Fire plans to burn piles in Uppaway Estates at Glenbrook and near Daggett Summit on Kingsbury Grade this week to reduce fuels. Smoke will be present.

Seasonal open burning of wood, slash and needle piles closes May 1 in Incline Village and Crystal Bay. Recreational fires with a permit and barbeque grilling are still allowed under the listed guidelines.
