STRUCTURE FIRE 811 SOUTHWOOD BLVD. #3
Crews responded to a reported structure fire at 811 Southwood Blvd., Unit #3 around 6:08 p.m. The fire was contained to the area of origin, no occupants were inside, and the cause was accidental.
AGENCIES TO BEGIN FALL PRESCRIBED FIRE OPERATIONS NEXT WEEK
The Tahoe Fire & Fuels Team, a partnership of local, state, and federal agencies, will begin fall prescribed fire operations around Lake Tahoe next week and continue through much of winter. Smoke will be present. Project maps are posted at tahoelivingwithfire.com.

PILE BURNING TO BEGIN WEEK OF NOVEMBER 1, 2021
The North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District plans pile burning at locations around Incline Village, including near Diamond Peak Ski Resort and east of the former Ponderosa Ranch area, starting the week of November 1. Smoke will affect nearby areas for 48 to 72 hours.
