The North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District plans pile burning January 25 through 28 near the Bitterbrush condominiums along Ski Way, above Jill Court and Tyner Way, and near Stillwater Cove off State Route 28. Smoke will affect nearby areas for 48 to 72 hours.
