The Tahoe Fire & Fuels Team may continue widespread prescribed fire operations around the Lake Tahoe Basin this week, conditions permitting. Smoke will be present. Project maps are posted at tahoelivingwithfire.com.

The District thanks the community and its agency partners as it wraps up four months of pile burning. Season totals include 98 acres hand thinned, 153 acres pile burned, 271 residences chipped, and 812 defensible space evaluations. Chipping and evaluations resume in May.
