The Rotary Club of Incline Village donated $1,100 from its Duck Drop Fundraiser to the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation through NLTFPD Local 2139, matched for a total of $2,200 by the William N. Pennington Foundation.

NV Energy and North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District received the 2022 Best in the Basin Award for Best Defensible Space and Forest Health for the 4100 East Shore Resilient Corridor, a fuel break along the NV Energy powerline.
