Tahoe Fire and Fuels Team partners are continuing prescribed fire operations around Lake Tahoe, burning piles at numerous locations as conditions and weather allow. Smoke will be present.

North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District maintains over 1,000 hydrants and is asking residents to adopt a hydrant near their home or business and keep it clear of snow so crews can find and use it in an emergency.
