Tahoe Fire and Fuels Team agencies, including North Tahoe and Tahoe Douglas fire districts and the Forest Service, will continue burning at Lake Tahoe this week. Smoke may be present in the basin.

The Tahoe Resource Conservation District is encouraging residents to join the Tahoe Network of Fire Adapted Communities in 2024, a neighborhood-scale program covering home hardening, defensible space, and evacuation planning.
