The Tahoe Fire & Fuels Team released a new map showing fire restrictions across the Lake Tahoe Basin, using a user's location to connect them to the correct land manager and rules for that area.

For Fire Prevention Week, October 6-12, the District focuses on working smoke alarms, which cut the risk of dying in a home fire by more than half. Residents get placement, testing, and replacement guidance.
